Redbeard the Pirate

Who knew that there were submerged rocks at Playa Roca Beach?

Yesterday we were at the beach and an innocent body surf turned into quite the ordeal. Isabel, Mari, and I were swept up against a submerged rock. In my valiant effort rescuing the damas I sustained the worst injuries. When it first happened, before I cleaned myself up, my “mustache” and beard were very bloody, hence the pirate nom de guerre. I’m really fine though. One of my teeth was struck, but luckily, it seems perfectly fine today.
